I recognized one of the projects I helped advised on in this film linked below.
Dustin Barca in that story, underscores one of the primary issues which I believe is foundational in what may be, a slowly increasing morbidity rate and number, for flu type infectious disease.
That of food security.
With the systemic usage of antibiotics in the livestock industry, coupled with pesticide-glyphosate enhanced agriculture production, we have systemized a health challenge.
The following explanation is simplified, but what has occurred, is that the presence of antibiotics in food has caused an increase in resistance to those anti-life agents by the various microbial-bacterial facets of our biome. This process exists across the board in the environmental biome, and in the human body, which lies at the top of the food chain.
That is a challenge to health, especially when a disease vector arises, which is tenacious in nature and virulent.
But there is a second challenge going on here that is also systemic. With the presence of genetically altered agricultural product that has been raised under glyphosate process practices, you get a further degradation of food security.
What that particular one leads to, is degradation of gut integrity and in some cases, leaky gut syndrome.
This creates a very pronounced weakened immune response.
Double whammy as the saying goes. Possibly a triple one.
As a result, what we may be experiencing in those cultures which embrace these practices, is a system wide impact on the population that could be causing geriatric level immune system response in a middle aged and- or young population base.
This leads to all manner of disease susceptibility, both directly and somewhat indirectly, via an increase in inflammatory response right there in us all. Remember, humans reside at the top of the food chain.
With the recent COVID-19 panic, what we glimpse as we rush past, is yet another sign post along the way.
There is no magic bullet drug for what we are experiencing. I am not merely referring to the challenge of the latest pathogen from China.
I have long supported what Dustin Barca has been doing. I agree with everything about it. He is a vital leader in the Ocean Ohana and is a credit to our Kapuna as an oceanic people.
Aloha nui loa by intention. Aloha a’ina in deed.
Here is the film detailing a little bit about a life of discipline and sacrifice, deeply connected to that which sustains us all.
