I am in the midst of an incredibly intense few weeks of giving.
How could giving be intense?
Sometimes it takes all that you have.
That is me right now.
I won’t go into the list, but it is long, and as significant for me as the people I am committed to.
So what do I endeavor to communicate?
Only Love.
When one tries to single THAT out, a near impossible task has been engaged.
Human vessels only get to carry love in passing. You see, we are sort of like buckets with holes. The love flows out and the bucket of our heart manages to stay full if we have flow. Just barely.
People are funny. I have long been convinced that we were designed, and Love was the architect. We look out at the world through earthen eyes, which translate light that illuminates the soul, informing the heart, which transmutates into sound and communes with our Spirit. Yes, we are three entities, and we leak.
I get to spend some time on the East Coast this week at Blu Mind, with my colleague and friend, Wallace J Nichols. I have a fondness for Blu Mind and J. My friend George Orbelian had taken me to a Blu Mind event at Autodesk Gallery in SF, and an incredible amount had been birthed as a result. I was stunned when J asked me to be a part of his work and come to Block Island, Rhode Island.
You can find the live stream of the event here.
J rang me the other day as he headed back to his home on the Coast, North of Santa Cruz. He was just back in from Europe and our brief conversation informed me that he and I would discuss Beauty at the event. Love is what popped to mind immediately. Because the two are synonymous to me. He asked if I could put a few images together.
This video linked below, is my stream of consciousness set to the music of The Kin, which a friend recently shared with me. The images weave together well: Beauty, Love and Blue. The title is taken from the song. I am really looking forward to the next few days. Open heart, empty pages. What will be seen, written and translated into my being? The thought really does make me smile.
You can watch Blue on Blue here.
The response it elicits for me is discussed here.
