Disease Management: COVID-19 Reality Scenarios

Disease Management: COVID-19 Reality Scenarios

A little medical History on me to accompany the article linked below.

I have been in virtually the identical situation which the writer describes, four times in my life, including qualifying to be a member of the Blue Man group.
The first was at the age of four. In ICU and isolation for almost 2 weeks, I was given an experimental drug which was attributed to having saved my life. That drug was Tetracycline.

Many years later, it was determined that usage of it had also helped create a predisposition to exercise induced asthma, which as I have aged and weathered pulmonary infections, has apparently morphed into significant systemic Asthma, in spite of having reasonably good pulmonary efficacy still.

Curiously enough, my second research project as I was in Pre Med study in college, was on the effects of high dose broad spectrum antibiotics. Out of that came a couple very strong theories which have recently been proven out. That antibiotic which I studied happened to be Tetracycline.

Read carefully what the writer says, especially where he underscores treatment error and accuracy (timing) as well as dosage volume.

Study and a calm methodical approach to health challenges places us in the best possible position to not merely survive life and health threats, but to thrive. With that comes peace of mind. This leads to the steering of your own ship, and less potential to be tossed around by circumstances and the under informed, whatever position of authority that they may hold.

This retired Medical Professional has a tutorial on SARS (COVID-19) disease treatment that is basically what I have used to survive my own health challenges

“The life you save may be your own. ”

Thanks to Dr Ed Brenegar for pointing out the article linked above.

Very interesting David. I’ve been thinking an awful lot about some of the tertiary issues the Covid crisis is exposing. Among them, foremost on my mind are self-sufficiency and the unwillingness or inability of people apply true critical thinking. Some of the smartest people I know are absolutely loathe to get news from more than one source or research an event on their own. And, when the firestorm occurs, these same people look for someone or something else to blame, inform them, or bail them out. We’re failing to pay attention when times are good, and then, when times are bad, we have inadequate resources (as individuals), to cope. Thanks for a good, thought provoking read.
