Early on in the “pandemic” I was fighting Valley Fever. We had an illness run through the company. Super contagious. Quite virulent, with a pronounced SARS component. I was already exhibiting the beginning of over production of Histamines and needed to wear a vented N-95 mask at work, to help alleviate allergic response, as I am allergic to a LOT of things.
Soon, I too got the pass around illness, in addition to my existing 2 conditions. Looked like CV. That was early Dec. (Yep, and that happened while wearing an appropriate threat specific mask for ALLERGENS. More effective than anything people are told to wear today for a 90 NM sized virus)
Rang up our research lead and ran everything by him. He told me that one of the other leads (An MD and specialist) had the same thing, and that it was H1N1 type B and quite bad. Saw my GP. He said pretty much the same thing as I went through a barrage of tests.
All of us in the company eventually recovered. I almost did not make it, and came close to passing twice, partially because my GP was not listening to me when I asked for corticosteroids. On the third time in to see him, he “got it”, and pretty much told me that what I was managing was potentially and imminently fatal. Got a steroid course and soon had my second close call with death. It has taken me 8 mos of discipline and PT to get back to health. The wheezing and erratic heart rate finally went away a month ago in the middle of renewed CV craziness.
I never got CV-19. If I did, I was too busy managing other properly diagnosed health challenges to notice.
The CDC changing it’s determination process has erased many seasonally common illnesses.
It appears Twitter and FB have literally completely banned the Mercola site being posted.
I engage in research, typically from 3-6 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is part of my commitment to my wife’s company in this time of threat, as well as an ongoing responsibility to several groups that I do analysis for.
I have increasingly found Mercola’s site to be both timely and accurate, and the subject matter experts being published, to be both qualified and accurate.
Having worked as an Industry representative w State and County Gvt in my careers and been a Journalist w a 20 plus year career, I know to never ever implicitly trust Gvt to be accurate, and that today with the collapse of Publishing, which began over 10 years ago, that many people employed in Media are not Journalists at all, but merely bloggers being paid to opine along a specific political allegiance aligned with the media Corporation which pays them a pittance. Typically most outlets have zero budget for research, so we in the public sector experience a sort of “game of telephone”, from those responsible for creating the main stream media feed.
That is how we have come to where we are today.
People would do well to study Philosophy and to read Orwell, Huxley, Solzhenitsyn and the Bible.
They really help to inform us, and prepare our mind and heart to manage the challenges of today. Many of which are rather severe in nature.
